To make a serious point though (he he) how about if we resolved all disputes with a game of CS than actual war. Imagine it, clans from the armies of the world, practising in their barracks. The call comes in - we need you to fly to ********** and resolve this conflict. The best hardware available, free webcasts of the game to all, just think of the exposure of CS to the world!

And just think of the awesome cheats that would be developed, the changes in player models and skins for different weapons, the spin offs would be incredible!

For all you brits out there not to be mean but I read all this crap some is true most is not first off the SAS is NOT the best fighting force in the world that honner gose to the IDF which being a proud american that i am must admit that the IDF is much better trained then US or UK solders and the IDF is training american troops as I type. As for the SAS vs american troops christ dont be dumb in sheer numbers we would win and US troops are trained quite well to spite what you brits may think besides wars now adays are mainly an airforce deal and america has everybody beat forwards and backwards there.

well i for one would like to thank rizzuh for posting this article, quite what he expected in the comments section im not overly sure, but surely this whole stupid argument was obvious to anyone with the smallest amount of foresight.

On the matter of the article itself i cant really see that form of training being used for long, maybe it was just some experiment to see if it would help teamwork, rather than an established and integral part of the british military training. Im sorry i tend to get involed in debates such as this to often America and Britain are both great countries and both need each other in many ways. As for the point on topic I think useing computer games to simulate war situations is a great idea war simulations can cost millions so its a real money saver considering most countries economies arent doing so well right now saveing money is good.But nothing beats the real thing its kind of a trade off id say.
