AFF: survivor

AFF Online has posted its AFF STRAT for de_survivor (flash in English). As per usual, this stuff rocks! The map itself, however, is worse than watching a bus full of happy monkeys being smashed by a compressor. Anyway, very cool stuff!



They even dedicated it to me because they thought that I was serious when I said the map was perfect. Sorry, guys!

I have no idea how these guys select the camping locations. I've never seen anyone camp in some of thes spots. That being said, I hate playing on Survivor, people tend to jump in the water and die. Whether the map makes them want to do this is unclear.

I would guess they go with all the really common camping spots, then add more that they think are also effective but less common. Thats what any good strategy guide should do!

Rizzah, you should keep your personal comments to yourself if you are going to report news on CS. I, and many others like de_survivor and think it's a great map. I liked all of the maps that came with 1.3 and still continue to play de_survivor and love it. It's fine to have an opinion but you are reporting news in the CS world and while this is your page I guess I would expect that if you didn't like the map you wouldn't thrash it. You state your dislike for this map as a matter of fact and not your opinion.

j|t~ I don't visit his site for his opinion to tell you the truth. I visit his site to see what is happening in the world of CS. Unfortunately, I have to read a tainted opinion that goes along with the news on many topics. And like I said, if it were something where he said it's my opinion and not a matter of fact I wouldn't care. But his opinion of de_survivor is incorrect and just because he has a page doesn't entitle him to state it as a matter of fact if he's reporting the news. At least if he were reporting it with an objective and unbiased attitude.

actually, the humor has been a trademark of cs-nation from the very beginning. if you just want plain news, there are lots of other "serious" CS news sites. cs-nation is more of a community site anyway, since real CS news have been kinda low since it went out of beta stage.



and i like survivor, i think it has a good layout and is fun to play, definately one of the better post v1.0 maps. But i also loved the first office, likeed the mudy aztec water and played highrise for hours at a time so i guess my taste is kinda off .



btw, 1.5 should have really been 1.4.1, considering the changes.
