Welcome
Hi everyone, I thought I'd formally welcome you all to my page. It's good to see I've been hit several times (not in the physical sense) and I'm feeling giddy about all excitement of doing this mod. I would just like to make a few comments regarding the issue of helping out on the mod :
- If you're a mapper that would like to make some maps for the mod, please send me a URL where I can see some sample work. I know it sounds harsh but I'm only interested if you have prior mapping experience
- Currently, I'm not accepting coders because I haven't had a chance to even see the source code myself so I can't comment on what areas of help I need help on. I'm not interested in bringing a code into the "team" unless we can set out some clearly defined objectives and I can't do that unless I see what the source code is capable of letting me do. So no coding help just yet.
- Please do not email me about merging mods, I just left one of the more popular Quake2 mods for the sole reason of doing a mod that was originally conceived by myself.
Now that the obligatory jive talk is over with, I'd like to give you guys another update on the mod. As mentioned in the last update, I have fully animated four weapons and I am currently working on the MP-5N. The sniper rifle you saw earlier is meant to replace the Sig SSG-3000, not supplement it, in case you were wondering. For those who are wondering what the models look like in game, I've done some grabbed some screenshots of them in Half-Life. Special thanks to Sidewinder for helping out with some of the models and animations.
