CS 1.5 Issues

"You cannot connect to a server which is operating under a different protocol version." It happened before...I Uninstalled CS, reinstalled, d/led a new 1.4-1.5 update, and I still get it. Sys Specs:



1.33 Ghz P4

128 RDRAM PC800

GeForce Riva TNT 2



No idea....worked fine before...I enjoy how everytime Valve updates, my CS gets screwed. Every update since 1.1 has screwed up. I alwasy get the errors no one else gets. Please put a fix....please...

Means the server isn't updated yet. Connect to servers with "CS 1.5" in them or something along those lines.

I don't understand this.. I have CSnation as my homepage.. I look at it like 50 times daly.. yet I almost always miss the place to submit your opinions for a mailbag topic.. dammit.

I do....Absolutely nothing works. I'm only connectiong to 1.5 servers....I tried a 1.4, same thing. Nothing I try works. I reinstalled and used a full install...It's now CS mod time....I hate this...no more OpenGL for me...my HL doesn't support OpenGL, but my CS does...wtF?

i just LOVE how i was the 1st to download garrys font seeing as i was the first one to see his site after he put the font on there - laf - i win - nice font too tho

I really like the font, but the capital A is messsd up in for me sometimes 1024x768(It has 2 lines to the left of it)

Hahaha...why is the same persons getting problems with cs everytime. Realise it, before you accuse valve , check your brain for bad sectors...

Don't try 1600*1200 if you have something less than a 21'' monitor

A 19" monitor can handle 1600x1200 resolution, BoNeLeSS.

WTF!!?!?!?! When I installed my new skins into cs when cs 1.5 is out, the new skins turns out to be opposite hand from my old skins?!?!?!!?! Why does it do that? Please help my to fix this, and I downloaded the ones that have both views (left and right hand) even when I tried to change hands (cl_righthand 0 or 1) the old skins go to the opposite hand and the new skins go to the other hand?!?!?!? THIS IS BS! sorry about the language.

I´m a RADEON Super-Duper user and have no problem runnning at 1600x1200.Big fonts are Ok but the sight still is too small
