NiP player losses

Word out early today is that NiP has lost many of their key players. This would obviously put the team in jeopardy as it would then be short of players and be left with important leadership positions to fill. All this while they are currently at a tournament as a team, though it could be their last.



But who's leaving? Heaton, Potti, XeqtR. How's that sound for the NiP-Bombshell-of-the-Year award? These three are moving over to SK.sca (Schroet Kommando . scandinavia). This should prove to be another team in their area of Europe that can compete with ND (Nordic Division).



Other members of the clan went off looking for other games/clans and working on other websites. This leaves them in the official status of "Inactive."



Sadly enough, this means that both the first and second place teams from the CPL:WC last winter are now (unofficially) dead with three key players from each moving to different up-and-coming teams. Should be interesting to see 3D vs SK.sca.

We are sad to announce that there will no longer be Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) in the actual form. We decided to put all activities on ice and leave NiP.

In my opinion, it's soap operas like this in the pro CS world that are going to make e-sports difficult for people to have great interest in or give any serious recognition to. I'd say that until the clan scene stabalizes people are going to see pro gaming as nothing more than a loosely organized bunch of kids.

It would almost be funny to put together a team of such players and enter them into some leagues, and make it their goal to utterly deface themselves and do as bad as they possibly could in every match.
