Southern Gamers Underground (SGU) in conjunction with Louisiana Mercenaries (LA_MERC) is proud to announce Bayou FragFest 2002, the largest multiplayer computer gaming convention in Northeast Louisiana. The games they will be playing are Counter-Strike 5vs. 5, Jedi Knight II 1 vs. 1 No Force enabled and Jedi Knight II 5 vs. 5 Capture the Flag. It will be held at West Monroe Convention Center in West Monroe, Louisiana.

I really dig the idea and the model, but the shoddy production values really detract from my enjoyment of this SOTD. The lack of a draw animation is really baffling, and the clipping is annoying. The model and skin look pretty good though. If somebody could fix the animations and clipping problems, this would get at least a couple more points from me. Until then, I'll stick with something else.



Addendum: I also dislike the custom sounds, I'd recommend sticking with the defaults.

the arm cliping into your face (that's a new one for me, never seen it before) so the arm looks about 6 inches long kills the whole package.

The model itself is ok, but the animation sucks.

the following is NOT bragging, it is talking about guns, recoil, and g/wankstaness



ive shot a mac 10, its recoil is rediculous, a 45 smg that small is gonna kill only the ceiling when held in one hand or using it like the default if you intend not to destroy the place.



mp5's are a much steadier gun, i am able to shoot it into a ppl shaped target and get all stomach shots(30 rnds in full auto just holding the trigger). its a much more rifle sized gun



overall:



i love it, i dont play cs to be realistic, i play it for sf custom map server, retarted 8 yr olds-? screaming in their mics, nipper maps...

and the stock's movements are kinda cool.

It's skin is pretty good. I think it's the best one at csnation so far, but still nothing eye-boggling



The thing that brings it down is the animations. Really fast, that kindof hiccup from one place to another. Make 'em smoother man!



The sounds are a nice change, nothing wrong



EDIT: after playing with it for a while, the arms are W-E-I-R-D! two-tone skin, horrible and annoying!

Don't like it, it looks awful. Ok skin, ok model from what you can see of it. Bad clipping, animations that are too fast and the fact it's horribly put together kills it though.
