cs_italy doesn't exactly suck - it just has some basic weak points.

it gives the terrorists a better chance in that they can camp better and also rush better than the Counter-Terrorists can, mainly because they can get to a certain position faster (example: down the stairs and out to the marketplace.)



people can rant and rave that the map sucks - however, that does nothing but prove the point that you created a mindless opinionation of a good map with a few weak points.



in all essence, with the weak points of the map, it still happens to be one of the greatest maps in my brilliant opinion. the gameplay really stretches the point of the terrorists defending and the counter-terrorists attacking to save the hostages. it definetly is a map for a Counter-Strike.

Iam no fan of cs_italy i dont understand the concept off it!? i never read the introduction at the start so feck it! i mean rescuing hossies in a building which repitidly has a old radio that blares out some itiallian opera music! "is it pavarotti" it just does my balls in i also lagg big time on that map and just dont have time for it! down with cs_italy!

omg! Italy actually requires teamwork. Teamwork in Counter-Strike? They must be crazy! Man, Italy and that whole "Voice Communication" thing should really be taken out, it stimulates teamwork and advanced game play that just ruins the whole point of the game -- to get as many kills as possible without dying.

If CT's learned to use Flashbangs, they would find the map much better. Its one of the more balanced maps.
