RUNArena Live Action Counter-Strike Paintball

No, you are not going blind, RUNArena is holding a Live Action CS Paintball day. What is this, you ask?

Live Action Counter-Strike is an all day paintball event in which Counter-Strike players, their friends, their girlfriends, wives, and older kids can participate in live action CS scenarios. Objectives include V.I.P. escape, bomb/defuse, hostage rescue, and more.

So bring the wife and kids out on Saturday, June 29. It is being held in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, but with an event this great, why not skip the vacation to Hawaii for some live CS? It is $80 per person and you have to register by June 13th so get cracking!



Y2K Leftover Lag

Leftover Lag is a upcoming LAN party being held on July 19th and 20th in Miami, Florida. They have over thirty sponsors including 3COM, AlienWare, ATI, eVGA, nVidia. GriffinRUN servers

Can't make the LAN's but in need of a CS server? GriffinRUN has just installed Dual 2.4 GHz Xeon CS servers. They ping as low as 26ms with 32 players on de_torn (but, then again, who would want to have 32 players on de_torn?). Test one out by joining or pinging 199.173.16.60:27015. Go check them out.

not always, i played paintball once WITH a mask and was hit in the throat, let me tell you, i felt like i was dying/ not all masks cover your throat, we had these thin velcro things we wore around our neck so we could see whos team we were on, and they didnt do much protecting/ i got the guy back tho, right on the top of the head/

i wear high collared clothing while paintballing. that protects my neck, but what about the groin u say? well i wear at least 3 pairs of boxers, and i havent even been shot in the leg/inner thigh/groin but it must hurt like a jacked up mofo. as for the real world CS situations, i would go if only i didn't have work and a trip to FL. oh well, maybe another year....*sigh*
