    CAL-I Match Night 2 Wrap-up

    One week is done on the CAL-I 8 week season and it is starting to shape the rest of the season. We were a little bit unsure on some of the newer clans so we held back predictions, but look for them from here on out. Let's get to the scores from tonight off of CAL-I results page:

    SB -over- 2c :: (19-5) - (7-5) (12-0)

    zEx --over- iwa :: (24-0) - (12-0) (12-0)

    e7 -ties- TAF :: (15-15) - (9-3) (3-9) (3-3 OT)

    1st -over- ~P~ :: (17-7) - (6-6) (11-1)

    3D vs DoP :: [ Both en route to CPL Regionals, according to DoG ]

    TSG --over- e :: (13-11) - (6-6) (7-5)

    -S- -over- .db. :: (14-10) -- (8-4) (6-6)

    TAU --over- dT :: (18-6) -- (8-4) (10-2)

    CK3 --over- PLAYBOY :: (16-8) -- (7-5) (9-3)

    D|S -over- Rj45 :: (22-2) -- (10-2) (12-0)

    rs --over- ExS :: (16-13) - (7-5)(5-7) (4-1 OT)

    WEW --over- D|2 :: (13-11) -- (9-3) (4-8)

    gX over TEC :: (17-7) -- (9-3) (8-4) -- [ Not on CAL-I site, source TEC website ]

    sW --over- 187 :: (20-4) - (11-1) (9-3)

    TSO --over- TuF :: (20-4) -- (11-1) (9-3)

    osx --over- SYB :: (15-9) -- (6-6) (9-3)[break]The biggest surprise of the young season has to be 2-0 TSG, The Stomping Ground, who has benefited from a somewhat light schedule but still a very impressive mark for a team who didn't even make the playoffs last season. Another impressive score was ExS who managed to take [rs] to overtime. [rs] has lost two major members from its second place finish last season, Porter and Clark, "trigga", both to gX and the effects from that might be showing.

    Two other notable results were zEx who blew-out iwa big time; not even giving up a round. W.E.W bounced back from a tough opening loss to SYB to beat long time rival D|2 in a close one. Finally, the 3D vs DoP match which was by far the best of the night, will be played tomorrow. Check out #domainofgames on gamesnet for HLTV tomorrow or check back here if we get it in time. Thanks again to the man behind the curtain.

    For those who don't know, CAL-I takes place twice a week; Monday and Thursday with CAL-Draft on Tuesday. We will try to keep you up to date on both North American leagues along with Eurocup's Nations Cup and Eurocup Regular Matches.

      Preseason TSG defeated DoP 13-11. A definite change in TSG from 1.3 to 1.4, methinks.

              wtf, that's bullshit. Everyone's played mill by this point. Mill + fire are two of the best clan maps I've ever played on

                  Eh... I've never played either of those, so I wouldn't make such blanket statements about what all clanners have played or whatever. Non-official maps are fine and good for fun and all, but honestly, I don't see them being a good choice for clan competitions. That's just me though...

                    Although if you're in a clan thats in CAL and you know that the maps are gonna be played in the season it's up to you to practice them +)
