Everyone has been begging for European news and, well, we have some. One of the most prestigious competitions in Europe is the Eurocup's Nations Cup. Already in it's second season, they have completed pool play -- quite similar to World Cup Soccer -- and are now in the Quarterfinals. All the usual faces are still around with season 1 winner Sweden seeded tightly at the top of the list. They are followed closely, however, by last years second and third place teams, Germany and Finland. Here's a list of the entire Quarterfinals:

Austria vs. Netherlands
United Kingdom vs. Norway
Finland vs. Denmark
Quarterfinals matches are all single elimination, and have not been scheduled at this point. The biggest match we have yet to see is definitely Sweden vs Germany as both are considered by many to be the top two nations in Europe at CS. The other solid match would probably be UK vs Norway. Norway has played very well so far in Eurocup, even beating Germany by a 16 round margin (32-16). Finland is one of the other solid contenders and looks to be the favorite over Denmark in their respective match. In the final match, Netherlands has impressed much of Europe with its strong play and should be the favorite in their match against Austria. More on HLTV info and match days as they are announced.
