Erik, people using OpenGL mode did get kicked, but I think after rebooting a server they were not.

well.. the video card drivr they wrote, triggered thier anti-cheat... lol at least they fixed it quickly, Keep it up Valve it may have some teething problems but your definatly on the right path! keep up the good work. Imagine if id was doing this... unannounced patches, multiple version of sw point releases located on different parts of thier website... GW valve for protecting an older game

ok this is NOT fixed.... i have seen 3 friends kicked within the last 2 hours. and i dunno why you think it has something to do with software mode cause i used opengl and got kicked, so did they.

Sounds like that server hasn't recieved the update yet. I'd suggest having it shut down completly, reboot, then re-load so it can download the patch.

Maybe I'm just a fucking moron, but shouldn't the "Version: 45/1.1.0.9 2020 secure" status be changed to something like 2024 instead of remaining at 2020?



Or maybe I'm wrong and it did change, in which case, why isn't my server downloading the new update even after multipule restarts? Where can I go for VAC support?
