damnit! i don't wanna download anything that has a virus in it.

Its not verry nice spreading rumours like that when you dont know what your talking about.

This would as you can see make ppl not to download and miss a pretty good thing for CS players, and IRC ppl, and above all a lot of newbies that hasn't tryied to IRC before and now have a chance to do so in a simple and fun way.

This file you are talking about i agree can be detected by some antivirus apps, but its NOT a virus.

Its a Joke file, a file that does something unexpected but totally harmless.

It all starts in german but dont let that scare you, just scroll down a bit and you'l find what you need to know about Joke_ files.

If that dosnt make you feel better just do a search on www.google.com for -Joke_ virus- bith words together.

Yes, it was my scanner. Sorry; I had seen on IRC a couple of people talking about it as well, and when I scanned it, it came up as a virus too. Thanks for clearing it up, Spell. =)

Sure you could 3ric. its for ppl like you i did this.

Just install it and let it run by itself, as long as your connected to internet it does everything automagic.

When you get into a channel i prommiss you someone will be there to help you move on.

well i'm downloading it right now. hopefully it works better than that buggy hlit. that stupid thing crashes my mirc every five seconds.
