LoL I thought my cartoons were lost forever and then you went and did something crazy like bring them back. Man those were the days. I pioneered the big fat fucking RzE shit and everyone followed it for like 8 months and ripped it off and such.



Can I just ask where the hell you found those cartoons? I lost the originals over a series of upgrades. It's kind of funny to think that some twisted bastard had backups of them somewhere.

also for you people asking for more counter-craps, these were made over 2 years ago by either myself or peto or champu. i stopped playing counter-strike a good 18 months ago and i'm puzzled as to why anyone still plays it at all. as a whole, counter-strike degenerated to a sweltering mass of cheaters and losers and racists, among other things. the fact that half life still even has a community is mind boggling as in all likelihood you should've driven each other off with your constant flames and such a good 12 months ago.



fuck the only reason i'm here at all right now is because after all this time of not giving a shit about counter-strike and actually ridiculing my friends for still fucking playing it, my buddy let me know tonight that good old rizzuh put my cartoons back up and i wanted to see for myself. after all, it's a miniscule piece of my history and my childhood if you will. it's not every day that you pull something out of your ass, turn it into a cartoon and have people actually enjoy it.



that being said, there was a little debate before about the history of the so-called 'Fat RzE' so i thought i'd share with you all exactly how it came to be and how it came to end.



one night i was incredibly bored (most of my best stories start this way) and i was perusing CS-nation before counter-strike turned gay. at the time, there was an article done by someone called ArcticJoe (or something along those lines) who may or may not still have a column here, i don't have a clue. anyway, i had read his very first column which was incredibly short as he was lacking lots of content. to remedy this he had decided to put his email address up and have us ask him questions to which he would post the answers at the end of his next post. i figured "what the hell" having nothing better to do for the next 5 minutes or so and i sent him a question asking "Why are the following people so fat?" in a joking manner as i didn't really expect him to answer my question yet i figured that he'd have to put up at least one question that was as retarded and as off the wall as this one and then proceeded to list a few people whose names were the first to come to mind at the time. i can't remember them all now but there were about 4 or 5 names including RzE and a friend of mine who calls himself MorsRedigo. the question was originally meant to offend MorsRedigo but since i figured that it'd never be posted anyway so i may as well go for it. i clicked the send button and off it went to arcticjoe.



a week later the second arcticjoe column was up and i proceeded to read it in hopes that he had posted my question. low and behold, there it was. "Why are the following people so fat?". to this day i remember his answer which was "I don't think that they're fat, but rather they're PHAT." i laughed hysterically in the fact that he had actually posted my question and there was MorsRedigo's name of the list of fat people i had written a week before. to this day i don't think MorsRedigo has any idea.



anyway, after reading arcticjoe i saw that securityguard had done up his very first flash counter-crap and i watched it and laughed at its humorousness though today i'm oblivious as to what it was about. then i read his post more thoroughly and saw that he was asking for some flash submissions for his counter-crap section of CS-nation. i looked at it and thought "why the fuck not send him something?". i downloaded flash 4 about 5 minutes later and opened it up. i racked my brain for an idea and after about 20 minutes i got this premise for a cartoon that a CT fucked up pretty badly in a combat situation and did it in such a stupid gomer pyle style way that it would make people laugh their asses off.



originally it was just going to be another average CT who was no different from the next one but i figured that would never fly and if i wasn't laughing at it that nobody else would either so i thought back to my question for arcticjoe and i decided that i would make the idiotic CT a MUCH fatter version thereof and i would call him MorsRedigo and extend my stupid joke even further.



i did about half the cartoon calling the character MorsRedigo until i just didn't find that joke funny anymore. it was over, after all it had been a fucking week already and i just had to get passed the stupid fat jokes about my friend and then there was the fact that he was probably the most obscure reference to counter-strike that i could've come up with at the time. but the cartoon still wasn't funny if the main character wasn't fat as all hell so i decided to go back to the list of 'fat people' and take the most well known name on it. RzE. everyone knew who RzE was. he was the most famous CS-nation personality of all as he was the original webmaster and all and he would frequently interact with people on the CS-nation message boards.



my character was now called RzE, as he was the most identifiable CS-nation personality and since he was on my list of fat people i made the connection so easily. i continued right along with my cartoon and finished it up later that night. i never claimed to be the greatest artist of all time and i was also trying to teach myself flash at the time so the quality of the cartoon itself was crappy but its humorousness made up for that by a large margin. i entited my cartoon "The Fat CT" and sent it in to securityguard at about 1:00 AM and went to bed.



another week went by and securityguard finally posted all the flash submissions. i saw the first caption, "RzE's fat? Who knew?" and thought "There's no way that one ISN'T my cartoon!". low and behold i clicked it and there it was, my cartoon. i checked the comments on the post and it seemed that my cartoon was well liked by everyone who bothered to post comments about it at all.



with that, 'Fat RzE' was the buzz around the community for the next few days. thinking i could do no wrong, the next cartoon i did was about RzE "the friendly goldfish" being blown up in a fishbowl by a concussion grenade. i sent it to securityguard but it was never posted which was probably for the best as the cartoon was about 20 seconds long and consisted of basically all of what i just said and nothing more.



i was dejected. i had been shot down and i just had to bounce back! i then came up with an idea that was just as idiotic as my first cartoon yet could be appreciated by everyone for what it was, a stupid cartoon made by a loudmouth with too much free time on his hands. it was 'Fat RzE' doing an absolutely HORRID dance routine to Black Sabbath's song Paranoid. i had done it! everyone laughed hysterically at this second cartoon (just so you guys know, RzE got them in the wrong order in the counter-crap section on this site, the dancing one was NOT first). i made people laugh again. however, my glory was fleeting. my flash 4 trial expired and i was no longer able to make cartoons and eventually, everyone got sick of my first 2 cartoons.



since i couldn't make any more cartoons i chose to let people use the character freely. later, peto and champu each made 'Fat RzE' cartoons of their own which many argue were far better than mine (including myself but like i said, i have no artistic ability and too much free time on my hands which is the only reason i created Fat RzE in the first place). several months later, flash 5 was released and i downloaded a new trial version of that so i could make more cartoons.



i made 2 more cartoons over the next month which were fairly successful and addressed some issues that people had with counter-strike while still remaining wacky and outrageous. soon after this my flash 5 trial expired and i was again no longer able to make cartoons. against my better judgement i got the warez version of flash 5 months later.



i joined a clan which did fairly well until it disbanded a few months afterwards. after this, i started my own counter-strike clan which lasted only a month and ended on bad terms but for that month i used the webspace from my clan's site as a vessel for Fat RzE cartoons. they were 2 separate ventures that complemented each other quite well as i needed web space for my cartoons and i needed some way to attract more people to my clan's website to gain members.



as i recall, my plan didn't work as well as i'd hoped from the first cartoon i'd put on my clan's website as a vain attempt to gain members so i immediately made another cartoon when the hype had died down from the previous one. this cartoon bombed and as a result was my last one. about 6 months later i gave up counter-strike entirely for my own reasons. then about another 6 months after that i decided to make another cartoon after my interest in counter-strike was briefly rekindeled. that interest was short lived however and i gave up counter-strike again. Fat RzE was dead and like everyone else i eventually forgot about him until now, which brings me to tonight.



i hope you all enjoyed reading that as it took me a fair amount of time to write up but i've always wanted to share exactly how i came up with this Fat RzE character. now it's done and i hope you can all stop speculating about it, though in a nutshell, some of you who guessed were more or less right about what happened.



it's been a hell of a ride guys and now i'll travel back into obscurity with the rest the world
