1. I generally trust valve's business model and release plan at this point. I believe they've been doing it for quite some time now and have been very successful at it.



2. He paid money so that he could give something to this community. The money that he spent goes towards paying the staff a nominal fee and purchasing cool prizes for upcoming contests; also for the community.

Pfft valve is so slow to update and when they do it quickly people complain? They should be updating at least every 2 months.

I didn't intend this to turn into a flame-athon, I would delete all flame posts if I could. I don't want the comment sections to turn into pointless arguments by any means, but I did feel the need to point out that the one post was plain silly- maybe I shouldn't have, I guess it was obvious.



btw. I just noticed that the pictures show first person mode with inset windows... am I slow? Did other people notice that?



also I am told a version of OGC allows >100fps. Maybe that explains the fps in the picture.
