I played the beta version of comrade and I really liked the choke points. I thought it was a well laid out map. Much better than many official maps-Also its just the right size, not too big or too small.

ps. DarkMenacE, yeah the beta looked kind of plain-but we weren't beta testing the look of the map, just the layout. I think narbert said he was going to add some signs and stuff. As for the kissing narbley's butt thing: I don't like cs_thunder, thats not butt kissing. (though I do love vertigo, which many people seem to dislike).



btw. I like the way narblet handles map rejections and criticisms(like when thunder was removed, when he was jerked around about comrade, or when it seemed that they were going to remove vertigo). Unlike a few other official map makers who I won't bother to name. Go narbalicious!

I have not played de_comrade myself, but I have went out and looked for it and was dissappointed when I couldnt find it. I am a fan of your maps and I hope this is your best one yet.

i love thunder..

vertigo was ok, but it seemed to lack something (something i cant put my finger on) but it provided some of the greatest gameplays ive ever had, though...

thunder was the bestest!! I really wish that wouldn't have been cut. I used to hate Vertigo but it grew on me some, especially since when I don't have time to defuse the bomb I can just jump off the edge, screaming. :)

If those pics are real (and in the news post it says they are) then that means there changing it so that u can have insets while in first person, which is good. I never saw the point in not having insets in first person.



And Narby is a good mapper, this is why the Natural Selection community is so happy that he's making a map for us

What frustrates me is the fact that this free game isnt free(dom) anymore. Now we have to have valve like it before its released. Just because they cant get TF2 (release date October, 2000) out the door so they mess with free modifications...
