Another damn release of HLGuard has been slapped up. HLGuard is a popular and free anti-cheat program from United Admins.

• fixed: some wallhack block issues.
  
  
• changed: improved cheat blocking.
  
  
• changed: gl_overbright will now be blocked silently when triggered.

lol riz... i wish we could do a auto-update. We can do it with the configs... but the dll is another story. Its possible... but I have seen sooooo many servers crash when you unload then load a dll. If we can get this fixed... perhaps we can implement it. Thanks for the support tho.

thats what i'm thinking, since the program left OLO's hands i have never seen it catch a single cheat because valves anti-cheat caught them or the cheats are HLguard proofed (which every single cheat out now is).



btw 1.1 of the loader is out (and it works), HLguard proofed, shows what 'great' work the UA and valve do...

Do I need to show you logs from HLGuard detections? How can you say it doesnt work? We have also blocked the aimbot and wallhack pretty effectivly in OGC 8.02. Also... we can prevent recoil scripts and other scripts of the sort. GG buddy... where have you been getting your info.

from all HLguard servers i play on (unless you took off the pretty flashing banned messages), anyways 8.02 doesn't work thx to valve, and does HLguard catch the new 1.1 openglide loader?

Speak in complete sentances. We just added the new cheat blocking. Yes we know Valves AC picks up the OGC... but we are working on lan server protection as well. Also... the blocking method works fairly decently on the XQZ loader.

and those pretty flashing banned. messages were the only reason i ever liked HLGuard, i liked knowing who was kicked for cheating and what cheat they had.

Yes, just because you don't see messages doesn't mean its not doing anything. That is unless you play all day every day on the same server. Unless you run a HLG server and have access to the logs, please do not say HLG doesn't work.



Also, don't even say "what 'great' work the UA and valve do..." unless you can make an anti-cheat that catches every single cheat.
