For me the colors are not vibrant at all in WMP 7.1, but DivX Player works good, but sometime at the black screen in the middle it decides to fast forward automatically...

    ...Militia2 looks good!

These movies are okay... but there are a lot of inconsistencies and things that would never happen with a real SWAT team. Both in 1 and this trailer.

And for God's sake, stop using voice comm, it sounds like crap...

from the trailer, it looks like they corrected the timer problem..if u watch militia 1, the timer's time is different in each clip. family_god hopefully just cropped every clip so thats gone.

        movie looks great, cant wait

why dont they use hi poly weapon models with gr or any other sounds

          it would be much better

          but its cool

and they could also tone down the swearing.....i dont think a swat team or terrorists use the word `bitch` or `asshole` that much while in action

yes this deffinetly looks much better than militia part 1, not much happened in part 1, it just set up everything for the huge action sequence that will probably take place in 2/ its badass when that T says "remember the first rule of sniping, they always move in pairs"/ you know something kickass is gonna happen/

oracle- i dont think they really can use anything besides voicecomm, otherwise it wouldnt record onto the demo, plus voice comms hows who is talking, but i also do wish it was a little clearer

how do you become one of the actors? I'm interested, I always wanted to make a CS movie since it came out, and was never successful.

Oracle, put it in this perspective, they have alot of limits when it comes to making the movie. The voice comm may be a little unclear, but in real life (as you compared it to), a SWAT team would use voice comm like that, maybe a little clearer, but close. Also, the movie is made with a game, how realistic do you expect it to be?

If I knew how to make a CS movie out of a demo. I'd make it very realistic. I don't think there are 'a lot of limits' as to what you could do with CS. I just think it's an example of the author really not knowing what is realistic.

Excuse me, Rizzuh. Did I ever say, "The Oracle has extensive sniping training and is an expert in Terrorist and Counter-Terrorist operations." No, I don't think so. I merely stated what I know is true. I'm quite sure I know more about counter-terrorism then you or most people here, I'm not saying all.

What actually possessed you to say that, rizzuh? Hmm? I simply don't like these movies; it bugs me when people try to create movies about swat teams but know as much about them as my grandmother.

You actually show your ignorance, Rizzuh. Delete this post if you want to, but you are making a blatant statement just because I'm passing on what I know. I have close friends in the army, navy, and police department. I speak of what I know. Don't try to ridicule me, which you do to most everybody.

But, I guess, it's your site. So do whatever you damn well please. And I'll say it, these movies are unrealistic and lame....

Why do these things get so much hype? Someone once said about one of my Herman's: "Haven't you people ever read a good book?". And I'll say now, haven't you people ever seen a good [realistic] action movie? Black Hawk Down is an example.

                      -The Oracle

P.S. I might not have had sniper training... but maybe I am an expert. Hey, you said it yourself.

The Oracle, in reality he simply had all his actors go into a server and he taped it with a video camera in front of his monitor. He said that in the interview, you clearly didn't read it, so you shouldn't even comment.

And directed towards your comments about rizzuh, he means well, don't bash him too bad.

Ummm, so? What's the point? He still told his actors what to do, where to run and when to shoot... He could have told his actors to do whatever he wanted them to do. All I'm saying is it's unrealistic, what you are saying has nothing to do with what I stated.

Okay, so he didn't make it out of a demo. I'm not at the comment page for the interview. I'm at the comment page for the trailer, which I 'commented' on. Whether it's a demo or not is immaterial, it's the unrealistic aspect that I'm pointing out. You clearly didn't read my post, so you shouldn't even comment.

What is your problem, The Oracle? I was being sarcastic because you said something that just sounded a little dumb. Oh, yeah, the script is actually trying to define the rules of sniping. :)

I'm sure that you know all those fine people, but is it really relevant? The movie never set out to be totally realistic, I believe. I don't see where you got that idea.

Did you not enjoy the first movie? I just don't get your gripe, does it matter if it's realistic or not? Or only to you?

I wasn't flaming you before, stop being such a quickdraw. I'm not a jackass.

Sorry riz, I was very pissed off before... I had a night filled with indigestion. So the angst was forced out on you. Sorry about that. :)

The first movie: upon first viewing, I loved, I thought it was totally sweet. But then I watched it again... Now, I know. This isn't a professional movie, he didn't pay people to do it, but the voice acting really turned me off. The phoenix terrorist was the only one with a cool voice. Maybe it was the whole thing about voice comm too. [ Some guy made a point about that above that I wanted to counter, but I'll pass:) ]

You have to understand something, riz. I'm the type of person, that when I watch tv, and the swat team enters the building incorrectly; or some person on a news network speaks of weapons but hasn't a clue what he's saying, I get upset. I really can't help it. I just prefer to see things that are true to real life... that's why I loved Black Hawk Down.

But I thought the movie was cool, I wish it would have been realistic. But that couldn't be helped. True, he didn't set out to recreate the swat takedown in Terminator 2. (one of the best swat scenes in all of cinema..imo) famly_god wanted to make something fun and cool, that he could be proud of. I'm sure he succeeded.

My Gripe: I wanted it to be more realistic. No swat teams with scouts or paras, no traveling alone, no snipers traveling through sewers. But it was innovative and cool. They were good; but I, like most people, would have done them different.

I'd love to work with family_god and provide... my services. (or whatever you wanna call it) But... he prolly won't want them.

Sorry again, Riz. Sometimes you're so funny it pisses me off... no offense intended :) I know you are a good guy, sorry.
