CS2 is on a "new" engine I believe. And you can bet they are building that one from the ground up with anti cheating in mind. Also, no hacks work for STEAM. Just a thought...

Really? News to me. OGC doesn't though. And the client hooks are the most deadly, which have yet to validate on a secure server. But OGC 9 is undetecable. I just hope valve releases a new module...

Photon: Testing cheats has nothing to do with going on public servers and using them. I wish more people would test how they worked, in controlled environments -- would cut down on quite a few of the erroneous accusations.

First off, it's based on the quake 2 engine and this has less to do with why its so easily hackable. It's because Valve published the open source code for the engine so everyone has access to it. Of course this was ment for mod makers but cheat producers use it to find and exploit bugs in the engine.

No, its Quake 1 engine from the ground up with lots re-written to valves liking. I remember randy pitchfork mentioning it in a .plan one day to try and quell the flames from the retards who thought Q1 never had slopes and therefore it cant have been the Q1 engine (great reasoning that)
