Do you know anyone else that has anything better to do than to spend all their time developing hacks for games? For nothing even?
Actually, the people that are making these cheats are prolly learning from the process. Just imagine the crazy algorithms that these programmers use. Making cheats is prolly more fun than sitting in my 'Fundamentals of Software Design' lecture...

Besides, these guys must be really good! (Considering that VALVe has programmers working full time to make anti-cheats.. and they prolly do some work at home as well!) These crackers we despise make OGC and XQZ on their spare time!!

It's like having a corporation spend thousands of dollars and months of time to make an inpenetrable wall... and have it's transparency set back to zero by some college nrrd over the weekend. Oh wait.. that's already happening!

I thinkg Joolz is gonna defect back to cheating, once he knows the "secrets" of HLGuard.

Looks like you've been raged before by some myg0t fagg0ts.. well you can call them evil if you want (they thrive on your hate for them). But the programmers are not the ones pissing people off!

Personally, if I made cheats, I'd keep them to myself and not distribute them to make the situation worse (like the OGC team).

How do we know Joolz won't be adding a special code to a new version of HLGuard that steals our CD keys?

Why the hell are there official CS cheat sites? Why can't these sites get shut down?

Freedom of speech. You don't attack someone's rights simply because you disagree with them, cheating (thus far) is a moral issue and not a legal issue.

Are you talking about Anisty? He is back in cheating and formed a clan called cSe (cs exploited) with ^virus^...
FLeK0, i believe he was talking about Chazz, one the the very early cheat makers on the scene. He decided one day that he was going to make an anti-cheat, called Game Defender i believe. He made an IRC channel made a big fuss about it, then roughly 3 hours later decided that it wasn't possible and put a halt on it, and went back to making cheats.

Other then that, yes it is a never ending cycle. Just like everything else in life. There is cable tv, then they come out with black boxes to cheat the system and get free channels, then the cable companies send bullets through the lines to render the black boxes helpless, then they make bullet proof black boxes. Just about everything in life has similar tendencies.

Actually, rizzuh, I'm pretty sure those hacks go against the agreement the developer signed when they installed Half-Life/Counter-Strike.

And let's get something straight: A hacker is somebody who develops the code that go into the hacks a cheater is somebody who downloads said hack. Don't give cheaters the pleasure of being called a hacker because they're two completly different things.

There isnt much in the HLGuard source that any cheat writer doesnt know. Honestly... We could give System the source and it wouldnt do him one bit of good. I honestly don't care that he is on our team. I welcome him. He has allready offered some good advice. Also... there is no way for him to steal a cdkey on a hlds server because there is no cdkey. That is unless you run a CS server from a cd install (which is bad). Also... be sure that anything that gets written by ANYONE on our team gets reviewed. So do not worry about him stealling you pron account passwords.

Chazz never made anti-cheats. He released some OldSkoolHack soruce code for 1.3.
I also liked being able to share my knowledge with others through source code. I am contemplating a new site which basically consists of a journal and source files section. I am still trying to eliminate newbies from following me around, and I am trying to capture a more intelligent and respectable audience. A site intended for fellow coders and people with an interest in what I do, and how I do it.

                              Check back soon!

                              -Chazz
Now he is working on his own game now.

                              From Nuclei:
                              Chazz is a genius
He's right. Chazz(and some others) made many main old cheats and cheating in cs.

Why is the game so "easy" to hack? I would think that Valve could identify the holes in their program and seal them up. It shouldn't be that difficult?
