I personally like all the assault rifles, and i used them all, but when it falls down to it, it is close between the colt and the ak. But when i'm "on" and everything seems to be going my way, yah just can't beat the ak with its sheer power.

Whatever is the cheapest. If I happen to pick up an AUG, I'll use it. I like the scope on it. It lets me be more precise long range and can just hold down the trigger hitting the target most of the time. If I'm up close I zoom out and let it rip. But if I buy weapons I always stick to the bread and butter. AK or colt.

I've been using this since the days of Goldeneye. Even though the physics are not remotely close to CS (In GE, I would run and shoot randomly at anything that moved), I am just very attached to the make of the gun. Not to mention this baby is a freakin' hs machine.



The sound FXs are also sweeet.

Is it just me or is it a lot harder to burst with 1.4? It seems to me the ARs used to be a lot more useful than they are now.

Even before I vote, I already know which one is going to win... and that is the Colt.

My personal fav is the aug. It's the best of booth worlds, you've got a scope and if u use it right u can get ranged kills but it's automatic so u can still kill someone if u happen to run across someone, and i just happen to be fairly good with it and SG-552 Commando. Can rember a time on militia, was a ct there was a t sniping on the roof with an awp, he was pretty good, he'd killed of a couple guys. I managed to take him out by strafing like mad and firing off bursts from my aug with the scope on. He actuly ended up killing a guy who'd strafed in front of me just before i got him with the last burst.

The colt will always win because it is the only gun good at medium, long, and close range. The Sig (imo) is the best close range, and at long range the AK accels, the aug is actually okay for mid-range straffing, but when it comes down to it, only the colt has the accuracy for long range, the rate of fire for close, and the controlled spread to take down opponents at medium range. Then again, most of the time I AWP/Deagle whore, so what do i know? ;-)
