Yes, CS-World is ran by a 12 year old, and while I know plenty of 12 year olds who could put together a better site... most of them aren't doing it, so I'll give this kid that much credit. Beyond that, however, it ends, because in my opinion, if you're going to put something on the web and request others read it, you had better make sure it's not a pile of crap. "Yeah, you guys want to come over to my place and wade through a pile of crap? I'm 12, so you can excuse me for not providing better for you..." Age is a poor excuse. If you're going to say it's because of your age, well, then quit maintaining a site until you're old enough to do a little quality control.



As for the stereotype that 14-year-olds are the lamers in the CS community... well, I've got mixed opinions on that one. Yeah, while not everyone who is that age is completely immature, there are plenty who are, and that impression is going to outweigh the good one, you just know. However... at college there were a couple of guys who were just as immature as your stereotypical 14-year-olds, so maturity doesn't always reflect age.



And finally, the issue about silencers and all that stuff. First off, yeah, everything asspennies said was exactly right, as far as CS goes. If you want to argue about what silencers do in real life, you'll find that your gun is less accurate (even though it has a longer "barrel", and will lose power. Unless the gun has an integral silencer (eg, MP5SD), accuracy will be lower, for various reasons I don't feel like going into right now). However, in real life, recoil will be a bit less, though it takes a little longer to swing your gun around and aim with a heavy silencer on the end of it. If the CS team wanted to emmulate this, the gun would shoot -less- accurately, and the crosshairs would both expand and shink more slowly while silenced. But they don't, so get used to it.



As far as reduced power, though, it's typically about 2-3 hitpoints per bullet less with silencer, I've found through testing. (Unfortunately, there is no single "this gun does this much damage per bullet in this hit zone... it's damage within a range, not absolute.)

Has anyone noticed the author tried to use big words to cover up his lack of English grammar and spelling? He would interchange enemy and nemesis in the same sentence just to try adding variety. Even for that really bad effort, he will still get a D- from me.



On another note, I think it's pretty stupid when people are mocking this guy's article with comments that, they themselves, have spelling and grammatical errors.

1. I'm a "volunteer" of the csnation team. I write articles and attempt to add something to the community because I too love this game. If I wrote something like that......wait, I don't think rizzuh would let me write something like that because it's really sad.
