Well, one good thing came from this, I was able to change my colt guide on my webbie.



I was always under the impression that the silencer would decrease power, but increase accuracy, because the colt now has a longer barrel/chamber (well the tube bit of the gun, I don't really look into gun technicalities).



I'm also in doubts now as to wether swapping button links with them was such a good idea...they seemed like a good site but if they continue to have bad articles like that then I may remove the button link from my site

In real-world terms, his point about the silencer is sort-of, technically, half-correct. In general terms, one must use sub-sonic ammunition in order for a silencer to function best (or at all). Also, the silencer mechanism eats a portion of the bullet's energy in passing. This would tend to have the effect of lowering perceived and actual recoil. This is directly related to slowing the bullet down, however. Sound suppression systems NEVER add velocity to the projectile. In game, however, it's whatever effect is programmed into the game mechanic for silenced weapons. I thought I'd read that the silenced damage was a bit lower than otherwise, but I don't remember where.

All rounds in CS are hit-scan, so there is never any "slower moving" rounds of any type.



To stick this sort of information into an article ostensibly about improving Counter-Strike skills is at best a waste of time, and at worst, completely confusing and muddling the issue.



As for the people at CS-World being volunteers, so what? I'm a volunteer. Most people who do anything at CS-Nation, or for most any site on the web, are volunteers. That doesn't absolve someone from their responsibility to proof-read their content so as not to look like complete idiots.



Keep in mind, it's not like we keep CS-World on our bookmarks and check them every day to see if there is new content. They sent US the email asking us to post word of their new article. Let that be a lesson - you get what you have coming to you.



Hell, if I posted an article like that, I'd expect some sort of negative reaction. I'd be disappointed if it didn't happen.

Give the kid a little break, hes 12, he made a website.. better then most of you can do... Its not bad.. some of the information is in accurate.. but in the article it did state.. " you should pratice your aim and stuff on POD bots " so i downloaded them... and praticed for 3 hours on them today.. i praticed aiming wih the AK, COLT and pistols.. it improved my game.. you should try it.. gj 12 year old :)
