hey people i have a problem i cant get rid of my ogc cheats while i wasnt home my brother d/l some cause hes stupid and he instaled them yes i know its sounds stupid but its true. i dont know what to do ive tried looking every where ive even found them in regedit and deleted them a total of 4 times! but some how there still in my computer then i thought i guess ill just re-format my computer and ill be alright butt i just found out that i can only go 3 months back beause i installed windows xp 3 months ago and its starts all over i guess.. so know i have no idea of how to get rid of them and i dont know what to do i keep getting banned from lots of servers can someone help me please i know most of you people are gonna say dont help this guy thats what he gets for d/l hacks but someone please anti-cheaters with a suggestion please help me i dont wanna have to quit playing cs just cause of ogc... bigsed765@msn.com thnxx alot.... :*(

Even though thousands of cheaters have been stopped, at least one person is cheating. Obviously Valve has failed totally.

New people do weird things. Like make thumbnails smaller when the thumbnail isn't even required in the first place, but still making the thumbnail look like it's sandpaper.

Its called hex editing and there are many things that attach to half life when its open. Renaming the file does nothing but renaming the program bipasses everything. Its on of the ways how hacked copies of almost everything get out there.

As a avid cheat user im dissapointed at the fact that valve has made my many cheats detectable

This my friends is a good thing a very good thing. It is the rebirth of skill death of dumbasses (in CS at least). Pray to your God\Allah\Tribal Spirits\Gooseman\Valve\Gearbox\whatever that more of this anti-cheating is to come.

Hex-editing the OGC doesn't work, and you know it! As claimed at Vasily's forum a hook is unlikely to be made again, but they say it's other ways...(I'm not gonna mention them here)
