After a long time away from it all, Console Connector has been released following weeks of testing. So, what does it do?
Console Connector sits in the Half-Life console (already authenticated with WON). While this is happening Console Connector is determining if there is a free slot in the server. When the free slot is detected a message will be sent to the Half-Life console to start connecting to that server. Most of the time it will get you into the server (It is not hacking, reserving spots or kicking users from the server. Rather it can be likened to you sitting in the console typing "retry" and pushing Enter). On the odd occasion it will say "Server is Full" after a connection attempt, but you can simply push two buttons to start all over again. (In future you will only have to push two buttons to get into the server).Apparently, previous versions used to constantly crash, but we have been assured that this new version is well tested and stable.
