de_comrade update

Barney/n@rby has updated his little site with some info about the status of the very anticipated map de_comrade:

Judging by the number of emails, messages and ICQ's i'm getting about the status on Comrade, i think it's time to update you all on it's status. Basically i will NOT be releasing it yet, but will wait for CS 1.5 which may or may not be a good thing, but we'll see. However, the playtest version is still out there (please don't ask me for it because you won't get it :x)

I may put it on the clownhut server, but who knows.

We will have to wait and see. Hopefully, the map will make it into CS 1.5.

can't he just release it for download??? i'd sure as hell like to download it. maybe the rest of the CS community would like to download it too... and i mean put it up for EVERYONE to dl, not some mysterious "where is it?" dl...

That would taint its chances of getting into CS, where it would really make an impact.



This map is very fun and action-packed, but it does allow for plenty of teamplay. I hope this gets into CS 1.4 because it certainly deserves it.



CS 1.5 should come out in the late Summer. Bummer (pun) that it has been delayed with CS: CZ.

It's most like a combination of Prodigy and Dust. It has a strong focus on CQB.
