    CS: CZ Dev Update

I know I've reached my saturation point for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero info, but maybe you guys can savor the juice from this little CS: CZ update I snagged off from VoodooExtreme. Check it out:
Pitchford also said Gearbox would reveal an entirely new single-player mode at this year's E3: "We're saving the details for the show, but I think folks will be amazed by how much it adds to the product."

Not that Condition Zero needs a boost. Gearbox has actually added features and content to what they had originally promised fans. For example, the number of missions has gone up from the 16 we mentioned in our Condition Zero feature to 20. Pitchford has also spent a lot of time telling the press each mission would contain about ten objectives, but now admits that number stands at 12. "Condition Zero is much bigger now than it was when we started. This has been necessary for its quality," said the Plano, Texas game developer.
Not too shabby. You can dig the whole write-up over at the AVault.

The article claims that Counter-Strike: Condition Zero has been pushed back until late Summer, 2002.

Oh Boy...they keep delaying cs:cz, what is this? I first heard something about it last year in August saying it would be released on Sept. 5 2001, of course that was very wrong, but that started cz for me. Then when Gearbox accually said it did exsist, they said they were going to release it in Q1 2002, and then again, it was delayed to Q2; sites also saying that on April 30th is was going to be shipped. AND NOW, once more held back, August 2nd, Q3! I can see this developing into a C&C Tiberian Sun incident, help back for improvements too long, and when finally released, it was to outdated and forgotten...6

                          Yes indeed, well-written article.

Hey I say it's gonna be worth waiting for. You're right, they shouldn't wait so long as to make it outdated, but then again with CS's graphics as an example, they aren't exactly top-notch and over three years since it came out we're still playing. I, for one, am willing to wait for quality.

Now as for MOO3...I'm not willing to wait for that one. GIMME NOW!
