1.4/1.1.0.9 Issues

Ive found out how to fix the new bug in cs. Go to dxdiag and raise the sound acceleration to max. this will hopefully solve the freezing/exiting to windows bug.

Same here...I can connect to a server the first time I start up CS sometimes, but if i restart CS and try to do it again i get a HL error popping up while im still in cs, and then it just crashes to desktop when i try to connect to a server. It was an invalid page fault error

No it crash with opengl have to restart computer and with directX it go to desktop(cant even get into a game or make one)

Changing the sound device setting thing fixed mah sound and crashing problems. U guys should try it. (but now mah ping is way over 200 now)

P3 500, 128MB RAM, Creative SB 128 PCI, Voodoo3 2000 PCI (Windows 95)

Got all the latest drivers, but whenever i start up half-life I have no sound, and when i try to connect to any game, or just to go into console, i get booted to desktop. Doesn't matter what graphics mode I am in I think that the problem is in the HL 1.1.0.9 patch.

Any chance of some help? (Suffering from withdrawal symptoms :P)(None of the fixes above work)

lol..well i gotta feel REALLY stupid right now... i accidentally put my comment in the wrong section... but like i said i just can't get on any servers so that's why i hate CS 1.4 overall though i like the new things the put on it.

Add 1 more to the count, HL 1.1.0.9 needs work. Mine GPFs every time it starts. Done about 20 reinstalls - total waste of time.

I also got the error .. everytime I tried to join a game or even just training it throws me back to my desktop .. can somebody please tell me how to fix this ..

I think my prob is wid HL 1.1.0.9 and Win 95. I nabbed my dads comp (Win 2000) and everthing was fine. Just a thought tho.

I use win98 and i have the error then boot to desktop problem when i try to join a game..

unless you add -****audio to the short cut which



!!! DISABLES SOUND IN THE GAME !!!



cause they probably put a buch of current directX stuff into the sound processing or something like that.

I really like this model, i think it fits, the model is fairly high poly and the transparent glases are teh own....all in all, great job! I need to stop sitting here and refreshing for 5 minutes lmfao...

This player model looks very nice. It's so detailed and well done. The skin was taken from photos?Nice~ However, it won't be in my csstrike folder since I can't find any other CT models to match this one.
