I have seen people cheat in 1.4 beta...

speedhacks are still possible...some using old scripts for wallhacking.

Can't we get rid of these relentless pussies?

Can't someone write a script that we can use so that wallhacks and such WILL NOT work on us? Sort of a ANTI-CHEAT PROTECTION SCRIPT that counters all cheat scripts?

For example: The cheater using a wallhack COULD NOT see you through a wall while you are running the anti-cheat program. Therefore countering his cheat script? Is this possible or am I smokin' crack?

Why have you done this ?



I have disabled the radio add-on (as the players are usually squealing 12yr olds), but do like to see what they are saying just incase it is to do with the match and the in-combat banter.



Surely if you have disabled the radio add-on, you should still be able to view in-game text ???? have i got this wrong ??

Some nice and welcome changes and tweaks on the list,

But some new features seem a bit.. overkill?

(i dunno, i didn`t come up with a suitable word)



Just seems that the developing team was bored and thought-

"Hey! That would be KewL!! Let`s add this! Ou YEaH, they`ll LOVE it!!" -and didn`t really think if all the changes were necessary and

ended up adding a bunch of flashy little thingies..



BUT!! I`ll just have to wait & see..



A bit sceptical about the horde of radar related tweaks.

thing was kinda suprising for me..

i'm uploading 2 demo's on my site:

as far as being in the top 5 CS clan in belgium on the Belgian Gaming Trophy ladder (BGT) i say Valve fucked up the game so people would shift to their newer game (Condition Zero)!

ALL skilled CS players are saying the same ... the new gameplay SUCKS ... the rythm in the game is DEAD ... We"ll see what will happen but i sense a large part of the SKILLED cs community will either play older beta's again or shift to another game or even worse just quit the scene...



keep in mind that in our country the clan AoR (Angels of Resurrection) TOP1 CS clan stopped playing CS because of CS1.4

other clans like KFH (also top clan here) stopped promtly this week.



gameplay is more important than realism ... if you want realisme play other games like Rogue Spear and such, slow dull games...

Yes, everyone knows there are already hacks available for 1.4, however if you read the OFFICIAL changelog you will notice that it DOES include anti-cheat protection, something the BETA did not.



And with this "Every leet player hates 1.4!" looks more like an attempt for yourself to jump on the self-proclaimed "leet" bandwagon.



All those who whine about Bhopping being taken out:



Grow a brain, the game tries to focus on this thing called "REALISIM" I know many of you don't know what that is because you obviously spend entirely too much time playing the game and not experiencing real life.



So, why don't you and your fellow anti-1.4ers join the army and then you and your entire platoon can (this is all very realistic of course...) bunny hop your way into an enemy base and then open fire guns a blazing. And if the enemy kills you, you can blame it on their aimbots, wall hacks, and auto-fire hacks. Damn Real life OGC! Damn you all to hell!



Realisim was obviously the intention of Counter-Strike to begin with, if you don't see that, Duke Nukem 3d Still works fine, and even has a multiplayer option, or better yet, whip out some Doom!



For those of you who see the recent changes in 1.4 as for the bad: I have this to say...



Were you truely so blind as to not see it comming?!



Bunny hopping, strafing / jumping / shooting all at once, running 40 (CS) feet to plant the bomb where it can't be seen / heard, are ALL pretty unrealistic.



Keep in mind that if the clans you mentioned truely did quit there are always other games they could move on to. Such as Pokemon Pinball, where realisim is completely non-existant!



Granted, I personally don't like all the changes made to 1.4, your point of arguing that the game is becomming too realisitic (and therefor damaging vital / unrealistic gameplay) is pathetic. The game was meant to be as realisitic as possible from Day 1.



If VALVe is making CS the way it is simply because they want more promotion for CZ, good for them, it will seperate the true players from those who spend entirely too much time analyzing what should be done to make it fit their personal needs.



If you don't want "slow dull games..." go play DeathMatch or TFC.



This is not VALVe's problem, its yours.

Um just wondering if anyone who thinks this is a scam to sell lots of cs:cz has enough of a brain to realise that the CS and CS:CZ mulitplayers will merge at CS 1.5, so I doubt if it'll really up the sales.



As for the anti-cheat, they said 1.3 would get rid of cheaters and heh it's sweet that you guys still believe them.



I personally think the jumping thing - as long as it's tweaked right - could be ok, we'll just have to see I guess.



Maybe cos 1.3's hitboxes were so awful we're all super-accurate and it seems as tho the (now hopefully fixed) hitboxes are huge . Especially the awp. Omg how many times have I got a perfect - or several perfect - shots on someone and missed, or fired near them, seen a bullet-hole in the wall next to them and killed them.
