I wonder if rizzuh is coding the forums himself.. then it will take sorta a long time
I know you don't mean anything by whay you said, but the only thing I need to do for the forums is:

moderator lists, table formatting, closing topics, sticking topics, the images, pages of topics (for the specific forum page, e.g. general bitching), and an admin plug-in.

If I focused on this for two or three days I would finish with no problem. The thing is I really don't look forward to any of it. It'll probably take a month because I'm don't want to code any of this.

Posting topics and replying is obviously already in.

Ok, first of all, mounting an aimpoint directly in front of the carrying handle is fine. That puts your eye sight directly in line with the sights, and instead of looking at a black front sight, you're looking at an illuminated red dot. Trust me, I had an AR-15 with this exact setup, never missed what I was aiming at. That being said, you also don't need to push the forward assist UNLESS the bolt didn't go forward all the way. On the M16A2, that was almost never. When you reload, you slap the magazine in and hit the bolt release, there is usually enough momentum to carry the bolt all the way forward. If there are skin makers listening, could you please implement that? I haven't actually tested this yet, but when I do, I'll report back an accurate score.

                Doc

Sushi-Y, did you serve? Did you go to boot camp? Or are you just basing your opininon on America's Army? If so, then please don't talk about that which you know nothing. If you did serve, then you would know that tapping the forward assist may have been useful in the 80's when the bolts didn't always go home, but in the A2's, it was not necessary.

                Doc

ps. after using this skin for a little bit, I like it. The p model clips a lot, but who gets that close to the gun anways? The v model is almost perfect, except for the mirroring, I will be adjusting my score.

p.s.s. in regards to the clip disappearing, that's standard fare, especially in combat. When you hit the magazine release, the magazine drops free, unless there is a severe problem, and you slap another magazine in. You don't need to pull the empty magazine out, that wastes time and effort. Just hit the release and it drops. [/edit]

Wow DocSkurlock, finally someone else with real weapon system experience on CSNation, Doc is totally right, the forward assist is rarely used on a gun that is well kept, i.e. cleaned, oiled. As for this skin, i prefer the ACOG on an RIS Flattop, and currently im using an M-4 with fixed stock thta i hacked from an SR-16 on Frenchyskins.....n e way, nothing wrong with this, just a M-4 for u trend whores. Great skinning as always, a few minor smoothing errors tho....

This is a really good looking M4A1, but the animation really screws up. Lots clipping, and the super fast reload moves look so odd in game. The colour of scope can be brighter, but it can be achieved by photoshop easily.

Meh... I don't like. The gun looks way too skinny, and on the reload animation it looks like the clip disappears and then (s)he magically puts it back in the gun. Plus for some reason I just hate those anims, they just look weird. I would love this replacement if it just only had the default 1.6 arms, and the default anims, not Strykerwolfs...(no offence, buddy).

Tapping the forward assist is just the standard stuff that they teach you in basic training, maybe people just thought it always had to be done because of um, America's Army. The reload anim is fine for me, the clip is released, gravity does it's job, while the guy grabs another clip and inserts it after, seems more realistic than the default clip-out-clip-in anim if you ask me.
