It still amuses me how people have been tricked by FP into paying for it because the personal servers appear at the top of the page. Good job FP site directors - they know how to get money. Aim at the stupid people who can't be arsed to SCROLL DOWN.
Maybe with time, they'll go for the RealPlayer approach, and offer a free downloads link in tiny micro-pixel sized text in black text on a black background at the bottom of the page (behind a large banner).
But I guess £100,000's of servers and storage (and bandwidth) doesn't pay for itself...

about FB, the personal server is actually better then scrolling down if your willing to shell out the extra $10 a month. This is because with a personal server there is no waiting in a line for a download(remember 1.3, like 5hr wait) and also because they cap your speed on the free servers. With a personal server I have dloaded 2 files at once before and both were running 300kbs... now that Im not on a @home 4mb connection anymore Im limited to my cable's cap of 1.5 mb but the personal server is still faster.
