I got my 6.7 disc from PCGamer; installed and played offline.

Turned out I had to dl a 56 meg patch to play online D:

I downloaded overnight and couldn't wait to get started.

I don't know about this. I think that you are perhaps speaking about the supposed 24-bit/96hz sound. For one thing, I read somewhere than this is obtained through supersampeling meaning that its not even really playing at true 24-bit/96hz. There are pc speakers capable of playing these sounds but no dvd-rom drives yet. Plus, some dvds now play sounds at 192hz which the card does not support so the audigy isn't really future proof. Wait for the next incarnation.

Ah yes... back in the day of 7.0, I remember it well. Back when I could nail just about anybody with my mp5 since that was the only weapon I used.



Fast forward to the present and now I'm just mediocre with every weapon. GG connection forcing me to take a 5 month break into the conversion from 1.0 to 1.1

Beta 7 for me when CS was at its peak.......

I started playin when i got the half-life platnim edition, those were the best times of CS for me. The first time I ever played i went 9-7(i never beat that score for a long time). You could see people flashing through the wall and shoot them and no-one acuses u of hacking.

These days u get called a cheater if your at the top of the table most of the time. Pretty much everytime i connect someone comments on how someone hax or cheats just because there doing good. only about 1/7 people actually get lots of praise for there skill.

My comp sucked to so i used my uncles and i only went there every 10 weeks and i slowly fell behind

Then i got a good comp and i played and got hammered and now im slowly rebuilding my skill.
