Those maps look excellent, but the most important aspect of the maps... game-play, probably sucks.

im a mapper....n i cant imagine all the work put on those maps, there simply amazing.

hope im not going to far,but shouldnt those maps be put in the next official cs release?

This Mapping Contest by cs.de is known as "Picture Mapping Contest"!



These Maps are only made for good looking and not for an excellent gameplay. In some maps you won't even find bomb spots or hostages!



But if you're looking for excellent maps, which besides have a great gameplay, then check out the last mapping contest: 52 hours mapping by cs.de



...or one of the other mappacks!

The reason you can't download them is because the contest is for a single rendered scene only. Theres so much light data and visibility data in each one you wouldn't be able to make a whole map, as all the limits wouold be taken up in one super detailed screen.



Besides, you'd need a gf3 minimum to actually move normally :)
