XP and CS Issues

A new update has been released by Microsoft for Windows XP (both editions). It mentions "Half-Life CounterStrike - Sierra" in the log, so if you are having any problems running our great game on Windows XP, give this a try. It comes in the Windows XP Application Compatibility Update, April 2002 update.



You might want to get this patch, and several others, at Windows Update.

CS works fine for me on win xp pro.... I guess i'm just special.

ya it works fine for me too... hmm did you try the offical updates when they pop up on your desktop freezer?

Yea I am still lookin around I just got this comp so that may be the reason also.

It works fine for me without any updates on home. WTF is Microsoft smoking? Because it isn't the same thing I'm smoking, that's for sure.
