One of the contests will be "creative writing" (not an essay, though), so that'll be a nice contest based on actual merits; the meat of the prize isn't something with a cash value, but you will pick up something worthwhile. I haven't really decided on the point of the second contest, just that it has a really neat and funny grand prize. :)
