East Coast Lan

Nathan I don't know what you were smoking but ECL was by far the worst lan you could ever go too. Me and two other clanmates were unfortunate to have not of prepaid so we got there at like 6 and waited inline. At 9 they gave us stubs that we were to use to buy tickets later in the day when the doors opened. When the doors opened we came back but the line was HUGE. We came back a few hours later and there was still a huge line but we decided to get in it. After waiting in line for about a couple hours or so we finally got in.



The first day the power would go out every 10 minutes. No matter what part of the hall you were on your power was bound to go out. They basically had to turn off all forms of electricity other than the computers. There wern't any hot dogs until later in day 2; and besides once we got them they were absolutely horrible. The CS tournament was ran so incredibly bad. It started out on Friday with one set of matches being played. There was some huge controversy about the matches because they didn't have a certain config to use which is absolutely imperative to have if you are going to run a cs tournament. We had to redo the first matches and continue with the tournament. Times given by the admins for match time were herendously off. They would go from making you wait a few hours to play one match to having to play one on a new map right after that. Once teams started going into the loser's brackets, they didn't have enough servers to do the winner's bracket and loser's bracket at the same time so they had to wait until the winner's bracket was finished. At around 10 PM the admins said we would be playing our match shortly so we stayed up. This continued on through the night with them continuously telling us we would be playing momentarily. Eventually 7 rolls around and we finally play our match. By that time our leader left and we picked up a ringer to use. We basically purposely lost just so we could go to sleep. After staying up the night before the event, getting only 3 hours of sleep friday night and then staying up all saturday night, I was totally exhausted. Not to mention they had us packed in like sardines.



Bottom Line: This LAN was absolutely HORRIBLE and the only good part about it was meeting people. CP6 was ran so much smoother with quick lines and lots of space. Hell CP6 even had more than ONE person watching the front desk. God ECL was pathetic.



EDIT: By the way you overloaded the power by adding all of those extra seats and packing us in like sardines. That hall was not meant to hold that much power and that breaker stuff is absolute bullshit. You better have it right this time or I am never going to ECL again.

Yeah the last one sucked ass. I even started playing Quake 3 it sucked so bad XD



But if you ever were at any other ones before the last, you would know it was an enjoyable experience. I'm willing to give them one more chance. But yeah if they fuck this one up, it's over.

You have exaggerated tremendously. First, the power only went off about 3 times and each time for about 5 or 10 minutes. The power problem wasn't that big of a problem. It was the old breaker. That hall can hold that much power but the breaker was old.



The line was long for a long time I do admit. It will go a lot quicker this time.



The tournaments were off badly...Last ECL was just too unorganized. They didn't expect so many problems/people.



Bottom Line: This ECL will be a lot more organized and a lot smoother. Everything should go perfectly.

My friends at pV power was out for more than 10 minutes nemourous times. Maybe the whole room wasn't out but there were sections that were incredibly unstable throughout friday and some of saturday.

417 fraggers was abit much. And yes there where power outages in some areas(like 10 20 min) but we did over come that.by Sat A.m.

But there will never be that problem again. not only has All breakers been fixed



We will not go over the 250 mark. it was to much with the little bit of staff.



No more Tourneys that late we now play CAL and thats it.



O and Pop said bs on dogs second day! They where there you have to ask. 1632 hot dogs given away in june.

I have used this knife replacement for a long time, and I really love it. The knife itself and the animation is perfect. The only thing bothered me before is that the original arm skin is so dark. It's solved now. Now we can choose from Robert Olender's and default arm skins, and this make this replcement even better. I am a fan of Robert Olender's arm skin, and I wish I can see more good models with Robert Olender's skin.

the arms could be a little different, im not sure how, but the knife itself is exquisite, well plaid, i have it on a shield model but didnt have the individual knife till now, cheers!

its groovy, but i am not fond of that newfangled draw animation....or the stab animation....or the slash animation...so, yeah, i dont like the animations. but its a great skin, regardless
