    SK Gaming's Newest Recruit

SK Gaming has announced Hyper from teams such as EYE, winners of the CPL Summer 2004 Championships (with SK placing a respectable 2nd), and HLO, will now be added to their roster as the new in-game leader.
Yes, that is right, Hyper will take over as the tactician and in-game captain. Something we have been lacking lately. The team is also back to a six man rotation. Using one extra player always has its pros and cons depending on the situation, but right now this is the by far the best alternative.
If you can beat them, join them?

    Wow, what the hell....

So who would we consider the E-Sports equivalent of the NY Yankees...? 3D, SK, or NoA?

That is really cool. Wonder how good he will do compared to the other teams.

None. However, if you took the key players from each team, and then amped up their reflexes by a million, you might get a team that has the skill comparable to the Yankees.

SK is a bunch of stackers.

Can't wait to see how this affects SK's gameplay.

SK has been a dominating force for so long, even before the days of it's current lineup which has dominated the scene for over a year. i might not call them the yankees, but give a little more time at the top, and in their own respect, i'm sure they can be comparable. because you have to think how long esports has been around compared to baseball.

anywho, looking at who they just picked up, i won't be surprised if they are still on the top for a long time to come.

They've had an almost unbreakable two-year stranglehold on the international scene, I don't see them falling out of that position anytime soon even without Hyper.

uk scenes been under-cut like this in the past with 4k taking top-players away from rival clans.

cs as an e-sport i guess mirrors the manoeuvres of professional sports(eg football) by the top clubs buying their continued success. Still its a shame, SK's monopoly carries on I guess...

In terms of physical strain, CS roughly equals baseball. Oh yeah, and the Yankees suck.

Well, since they don't have the money to buy every good player...then I guess they can't be compared to the Yankees. Oh, and the Braves rule :P

                        /damn yankees

Shooting is a sport. Why isn't CS?
