The quality that I love most about the FiveseveN is its (comparatively) high rate of fire. I'm not an accuracy AK whore, so I can't hit shit. I tend to buy the MP5, spray until I'm empty, then switch to a fast-firing pistol and spray some more.



Now you're telling me I can do this with a shield that stops low caliber rounds? Elite.

The shield comes with a FiveSeveN...... then whats the point of having the FiveSeven in the pistol buy menu ?



Well at least it is better than the elites, plus you got a shield that will stop pistols/SMGs/shotguns cold. :)



Perfect for the pistol kamikaze in you without hurting you too much.



But wait, does that mean players will have 2 pistols instead of 1 ?

Nice update to the preview, I must say. Looks like CS:CZ is shaping up nicely. If only there were a demo... but no, there wouldn't be much point in that, as it's not like Valve needs to build up community interest -- it's already there.

Eh, they may seem similar against unarmored targets, but in my experience (ie, getting bored and spending endless rounds shooting a friend in a 1vs1 game and looking at damage points), the 5-7 retains effectiveness against kevlar, where as the glock goes to hell being worthless against kevlar. Neither is extremely powerful, but for the people who aren't accurate enough to use the deagle, or people who are extremely accurate (for headshots), it's a rapid, accurate alternative.

One might hypothesize that the 5-7 + shield is more expensive than just a 5-7 by itself... thus the need to have the 5-7 in the pistol buy menu by itself for less money.



As far as the models issue, well, it's about time CS added some more models, most notably female models. I just hope they'll be tasteful about it... so many games that feature female models seem geared towards 13 year old boys who simply want to see as little clothes as they can in their games. However, I'm a big fan of minimal models (though I wish you could pick which two models it used), and also hope that this functionality is retained in CS1.6/CZ multiplayer. Don't see any reason why it wouldn't be, however. Let's all just keep on praying that the L337 Kr3w never has a mullet again, heh.



My only complaint so far... while I'm glad that they switched dev teams for CS:CZ, and got rid of that crossbow crap... I did like the idea of suicide belts, and even more importantly, the pancor jackhammer. We're getting another machinegun, which is really good (about time), but I'm getting an itch for another shotgun too. And really... they don't come much nicer than the jackhammer, heh. Odd that I want it, considering that I tend to use the pump shotty in CS over the autoshotty (fine, M3 vs XM1014), but that's just me. New weapons! Finally! Yes! Hehehe... :)

NH-COBOKYNRRTbCR COKP...er that's as close as I can get it to without using the Cryillic alphabet. And yes, finally we have new weapons. I really want a new shottie but if they don't add one they should switch the XM1014 to the Benelli M1 Practical. It looks exactly like the 1014 but carries 9 shells and costs $1,200. But I shall greatly miss the suicide belt.§
