Stupid guide !!!!



Scouts are meant for running around, and picking off people all over the place........ not camping. I use the scout almost ANYWHERE becos it is light and fast, easy to shoot ( I am serious, it is easier than THAT 3 letter 1-liner ) and packs a punch....



Walk into the middle of a firefight and unzoom and cap that unsuspecting bastard in the head or torso, most of the time they should be killed with 1 shot.... especially when everyone has assault rifles and are either banging or spraying at each other and lobbing grenades at each other... Also, by this time most people are paranoid by THAT 3-word 1 liner, and spend most of the time looking for the gay camper with THAT 3-word 1 liner and will not be aware of the slient and deadly Scout, so go in the fight and wreak some silent havoc...



So instead of being gay and camp like those with THAT 1 - liner, go out nail those guys with THAT 1 Liner and kick ass in style.

The person who wrote it maybe does this tactic and it make work for you. If you don't like it, FINE! -- but do not go around the comment board flaming on how bad of a job he did. It is his tactic he used to play better. If you don't agree with him then don't use it. These guides are to help people.

I prefer the automatic sniper rifle for the T's better than any other sniper in CS

Each tactic is adopted to suite the player who uses them. Certain tactics work wonders for people, others dont. In the end, the strategy writers are just expressing their opinion on whats a good method and whats not, its up to the players whether they adopt this play style or not.

Personally, I try to adopt my own style, but I develop new ideas by watching more advanced players than me (well that means watching anyone else then) - but generally I don't like to adopt sneaky little tricks/exploits into my strategy - for example, I would never advise anyone to use the "Sniping USE Key" exploit - where you can jump out and stop dead still and shoot, simply because CS didnt intend this, and I have heard in the next version this is going to be sorted out and removed - I'd rather adopt my tactics through things which arent going to be removed - those people that have become dependent on using the "USE Key" exploit to snipe are going to find it difficult to adjust once the new patch comes out. If I never use this exploit, my play style will never change



The only time you can ever truly write a strategy is if a finalised version of a game comes out, and with CS I doubt we will ever see that!

sorry but these guides are pretty weak. the advantage to the scout is you can jump, run, strafe and it's still accurate. if you have to wait for half your team to die before you can kill things, then you shouldn't play CS. find some non-team game and have fun.



the other thing, if you hit someone with a scout, on average you do about 55 damage. at that point you can switch to pistol, put a couple more shots in them and they are done.



also, on the map strategies, things like hiding in the trench are really bad ideas if you play with people who have any skill. you're a slow moving, sitting duck under there; especially with a SMG, where someone with a rifle can just shoot the wood and kick the crap out of you.

AHEM , PARDON ME , WHO the hell he think he is ?



IF both teams are on par of strength that is fine... but if the opposing team is l33t and HE camps, his team would be 1 man down...... and if his team loses.....he can expect 5 enemies hunting for his ass... not a great tactic eh.....



First, he fail to do what a sniper do, to provide his squad with sniper fire and pick off enemy snipers...



Second, becos of his selfishness he can cost his team the match by camping and he would get his ass kick!



Finally, even when his team is strong, the lack of sniper support could still be fatal, I have seen l33t teams get screwed becos their sniper refuse to move and half their team gets gunned down by AWP whores......



THIS ARE THE LOOPHOLES OF HIS STRATEGY, HE MUST AS WELL KICK HIMSELF IN THE ASS........anyway with the appearance of ANTI-CAMPER tech his tactics would be useless.

Excuse me, I did not mention anything at all about how the strategy guide is written. To him, it is written very well. To you, it may be very bad. If it works for him and does work for him, do not go around screaming how bad it is. Some people may disagree with your playing terms. Do all people play how you play? Do all people follow his strategy? No. You should at least give him credit for working on his strategy so hard so you can criticize him.

I hardly use an AWP or Scout. In some maps, I would just buy a cheap weapon like UMP, get behind the enemy line, and then blast their backside.
