At first I didn't understand why someone would go to such trouble to complain about a GAME. I know that there are people out there that take it as serious as a sport, and I respect that because sports are also just GAMES. And please don't knock this guys grammatical errors, it's not like you're perfect.

Well, I think most of my concerns have been voiced by other people, and it looks like I missed out of most of the excitement. However, I wanted to make a general point on grammatical skills. If you want to have a good point, it's pretty important to articulate youself. Language such as the author of this article uses is akin to one attempting to give the state of the union address in ripped jeans and a "big johnson" t-shirt. Regardless of your point and however good it may be, the effectiveness of your point is lost in the white trash antics of your grammar.



In respects to the article, I would agree that cheating accusations are tiresome, especially when people with server control use Mccarthyist tactics to ban "cheaters" (also known as "people who kill them"). HOWEVER, the author's attempts to repeatedly claim about how he "rarely dies" and "if I just had low ping, I would never die!" are nothing short of laughable. Also, how exactly has his clan been around for 2 years if he only started in 6.5? I especially enjoy the comment about "well 1.4 will suck so I guess I'll quit." Who wants to bet a few bucks this guy hasn't even tried it out, and has just read a few flames on the subject? He probably thinks they're changing the weapon names too...



If it's one thing I've learned in my 2+ years of administrating a cs server, it's that for every bit as good as you think you are, there are always 2 people just as good or better than you. You're either 1.delusional or 2. one of about 5 people in the world if you think otherwise. If you routinely go 9 or more kills without dying, clearly you are not playing on very challenging servers. Maybe that's just my opinion, but in my experience that seems to be the case.



It is really our fault that we have chosen to acknowledge this miscreant and make him think his article is some amazing, revolutionary piece. But much the same as we as a world cannot stop watching news about train wrecks or Jerry Springer episodes, we simply cannot stay away from this tripe. We see idiocy and fuel it by our reactions.
