CS.de map contest

Counter-Strike.de have just launched another map contest, only this time it's with a difference. I'll leave it for the blurb to explain.

This time the goal is not to create a "real" map, rather an artistic impression.

The mappers are given three themes (two pictures, one scene from a book).

They are supposed to create a map which resembles this scene in some way or another.

Not the maps themselves are rated, but screenshots taken from them.

Things like r_speeds (polygon counts) are not relevant this time.

Imagination and the visual result are the goal - hence "Picture Mapping".

Looks like a decent idea to me, so why not go check it out?

so basically you could make one wall of a map and take a screen shot of it and send it in? or do you send in your map and they take sceen shots of it

do they have to make every map? or just 1 of the 3?
