Even if they fix it so that you can't communicate while dead, some fag ass hacker will make it so you can. This game is ruined. I can hardly stand to play anymore. Pisses me off. And you idiots with the league shit can suck ass. 90% of the people who play this game don't bother with that silly shit. So if it isn't cheat free on pubs then the game is worthless.

Im sorry I sound so damn negative but, I am so sick of the cheating and being accused of cheating everytime I have a decent game... This game was so damn fun before. Now I question every headshot. Every time I get wacked through a wall or just seem to die too fast I wonder if it was bullshit.

I even find myself backing off if I am doing too well, because the accusations will start coming and then next the votekick begins. And then I am forced to defend myself even though I never cheated at this game in my life. I realize I am not the only one to put up with this but, I miss Counterstrike the way it should be.

Uhm, people bitch over every new update released, its nothing new. CS isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and as long as your mommies and daddies pay for your cable connection you will still play it.

Well it will work, i dont wanna go too offtopic in the comment page, but what telnet client are you using? I'm on win2k which is a bit different than win9.x



Also your local echoes might be turned off so you cant see what your typing which makes it a little harder. And connecting to IRC server DNS RR like "irc.gamesnet.net" or "west.gamesnet.net" will not work. You need to specify a real server like "Slim.NY.US.GamesNET.net"



So when you do that telnet will open a connection, you wont see anything but just type out the USER line and NICK line. You will also need to reply to a ping manually with a pong.



So if you see like



PING :49898233



You type



PONG :49898233



Its a bit tricky, and tottaly pointless btw so don't bother lol. And when you connect and join a channel all you see i raw data which isn't the best for making out what everone is saying.

You will get Pinged as soon you type in your USER and NICK lines, then after properly replying to the PING you should see something like this...
