In what seems to be the hot trend right now, the guys over at Wight-Tech opened their Counter-Strike site to the public. Wight-Tech features various numbers of realism patches, maps, and soundpacks for CS. Hit it up if that's your bag, baby.

The Question I have is:
Will these versions/Patchs/packs screw up my playing CS?
Cause i downloaded a few patchs once, and i had to re-install CS cause people has differant versions of CS. -

they're not really.. "patches", they're just add-ons that replace files.. e.g. the soundpacks..Comment

some leagues dont allow mods of any kind so keep that in mind if your in CAL or whatever.Comment

i dont know if these skins have anything to do with it, but when i put things like that (new sounds, skins, ect) then try to run cheating death, it tells me i cant play because of "blah blah blah", do these skins have anything to do with that?Comment

You can only use these add ons on a LAN server!!! That will not do!

Hi guys, Im the creator of wight-tech aka Gary Riggs, Currently we have only 2 versions of the realism patches but we are adding everyday. I see one of the comments below says that you can only use realism patches on LAN - I can assure you that this is a rumor! The WT Realims Update v1.0 is for beginners but the csupdate patche is for more advanced users - all the realism patches come with built in installers - it is highly recomended you back up your counterstrike files tho - all the patchs have been checked with Norton anti-virus so no worries there.
Also a huge thanks to csnation for adding us to there website! we have used over 2 gb of data transfer over the weekend!
