csn cs store

[CSN NewsBot]

I've renamed our donation page to our "support cs-nation" page. It more or less conveys what we plan on spending the money on. The major change is that we have opened the CS-Nation CS store. It's pretty small right now. Your feedback in the comments will help foster future "departments" and what-not.



Our main focus right now is sending a small (less than $100) first paycheck to the CSN staff and then holding contests/give-aways, as you guys seem to want (who wouldn't?). Things we won't be spending money on are investing in a CS server and any sort of clan/site sponsorship that some of you may disagree with/not benefit from.



Anyhow, be sure to check out the store and leave feedback in the comments. The shirts are not meant to be shameless CS-Nation promotions, but are actually supposed to be somewhat funny and tell other folks that you play/love Counter-Strike.

I'll be sure to pre-order CZ from amazon through csn. They updated the release date. It was december 2002 before which we all know is totaly off but now it says April 30th. So it that the real release date?

one more thing: COUNTER STRIKE WAS ON NPR. i know my news story sucked: re edit it but dude but please put it out..... i think people would like to know that ctrike was on npr and has lead to gang violence in california.

One feature is one feature. e.g. a profile page would not include some sort of quote, clan history, favorite weapon, and a map to London, etc, etc.



A profile page would include all information that I could fetch from the DB. I'm reasonable, so I'd probably add a part to your "preferences page" where you could make a quote or anything else interesting. I would make the feature worthwhile for the site, or there is no reason to attempt it (which I have to).



I'm giving my word that I'll code the feature and I doubt anyone will abuse it for "massive" projects.



About NPR: It was from a USA Today article (I believe), which contained numerous factual errors. It's too sensationalistic to get a post. "People die from CS," is not positive news -- nor is it likely that these gangbangers would LIKE eachother due to any circumstance.

I would love to help the fine men of CS-Nation (I think 1 or 2 of you still rank decently in my book), but I am currently a victim of the current economic situation (laid-off) and have no spare cash. I've had to curtail my gambling, drinking, and whoring down to a minimum, and that minimum is a big old zero.
