all in all, it just comes down to a certain perspective.



I dont dislike vasily, i dislike the peons who use cheats in cs. esp those who cheat in competitive situations.



if cs wasnt full of weak minded twits who need to cheat to "have fun" at others expense, we wouldht have this problem.



and he is right, there are more important things in this world to get worked up about. but then again, that could always be said, since its all a matter of perspective anyways

By the way, I asked a few Catholic priests about cheating in computer games. They answered that these violent computer games were evil, they distracted the people from the God, the people who created, distributed and played such games should be stopped and the people who head off the players from the game did right thing and would be blessed. So if a cheater dislodges someone from the game, he deserves a reward.

lmao, I believe in god so it is my duty to cheat! I must "dislodge" people from counter-strike and then I must be rewarded. I "did the right thing" when I "head off the players from the game" so I should be "blessed".

WTF! Doesnt this guy relize that people are starving around the world? Why is he worrying about cheating and why should we encourage people to cheat in order to "dislodge" other players.

He did make one interesting point about how he believes that valve encourage cheating so ppl will buy a new copy of HL ones the won id has been banned everywhere.



This supports what valve r going to do with the nxt release allow cheats to play for one week work out who they r and ban them from the wonserver meaning they will get a one large sum payment from all the cheats going down to electronic boutique and buying a new HL

Yeah I was thinking that Valve wants to have the gereral public in their grasp. Wait, no I don't. For anyone that has ever looked at a list of servers you can see that there are thousands of server. Unless you cheat so people know your cheating, you will run out of servers in about 3 years making Counter-strike a thing of the past.

it is a pretty good idea, but i think that many people that get banned for cheating, not the n00b ones, but the kids that just like to make trouble on servers (ie myg0t, but not just them) they just goto the stores and steal cd-keys, so they aren't really paying for em anyway.



As for the n00bies that just hack to have a chance, if they get banned from every server i doubt that they will go waste more money on a game that they suck at.

its the players in clans that get caught cheating can get a new won id and therefore a new name and a new lease of life without getting clled a cheat by every1 he comes upon and believe me theres lots of em.

there may be a alot, but i doubt enough to keep VALVe in business for the past 4 years as vasily suggests.

Most of them are unable to see the world without the video game spectacles. The best example was a letter I received September 13 from someone located in Texas. The letter was filled with swearing. He told me that he was an elite video game player, but these bad cheaters had ruined his good game, he hated them, they were the worst people in the world. I was shocked. Terrorists killed several thousand people just two days before. People whispered about the Third World War. But it had no concern with The Counter-Strike; video game cheaters still were the worst problem in the Earth...

Okay, he's the brilliant programmer that can't figure out that it takes more than two days to send a letter from texas, usa to communist russia.
