about the awp/g3/scout/ct sg tripod thing...they should make it mandatory for people to set a up a tripod for the awp, which would take 1-2 seconds, and you can buy an OPTIONAL tripod for the scout, g3, and ct sg. this optional one would just increase the accuracy of the weapon (or decrease the recoil, same thing) makng it more useful to the "set-up-and-stay" snipers, rather than the "rush-with-scout-actually-trying-to-help-out" snipers.
as for the whole model thing, the orginal models ar great, as are the sounds. they are pretty well detiled in first person view, but the world models and players models are terrible! all teh details are blurred out and stuff. i think there should be an option for low-or hi-poly models, like snake said. lastly, onthe models, has anyone noticed the arm modes suck in first person? the guy's arm is EXACTLY the same for EVERY gun. nowthis wouldn't be bad if the arm looked good, but it sucks! it looks like a cardord cut-out arm or something...Comment

They need to adress the hostage problem. It's kinda lame in 1.3 they phase in front of you when you run and can be seen through walls therefore giving your escape route away to the enemy much easier.
I'd also like to see the defusing system change just a bit. When you start and have to retreat behind a box or something, once you get back to defusing you should start up where you left off.
Would be nice if terrorists started with a slightly better handgun too, either the usp like the ct's or the p228. And lets make the knife throwable while we are at it just for fun heh. Can always just pick it back up. I'd also like a spit button, so after I kill somebody I dislike I can go hawk a lunger on them.Comment

Wow, I've never thought of that before, but now you mention it that sounds like an awesome idea! Maybe needs a little testing for playability (maybe not start EXACTLY where you left off, but not completly restart.)Comment

yea, joe's idea is actually really ood, because it increases realisim as well as savng tiem defusing the bomb. in real life (or at least in movies) when a guy is defusing a bomb, lets say they cut wire a, and then bad guys coem in and shoot at them the cts take em out, ct goes back to defusing, and, wow! wire a is STILL cut! incredible! it shoudl be like that in cs, not like you have to keep defusing it fromt the begininngComment

When you say eliminate jumping over and over, you dont mean like in DOD do you. Because I cant stand the fact that they tried to make DOD so realistic that it took the fun out of the game. I liked DOD much better in its earlier stages but it was ruined when so much realism was tried to be put into it. Although DOD will never match the quality of CS, i hope that CS does not turn into a tactical "realistic shooter" instead of an arcade like tactical shooter like it is in its current state. So anyway, my point is that I dont think that the actual gameplay should be tampered with since CS is quite good in its current state, besides the cheating. As long as the jumping does not become rediculous like in DOD, then Im sure it will be ok. I HOPE.Comment

Auto-picup is evil, so many times I am about to kill someone with a USP or Deagle and I run over some crappy SMG and I get filled with lead.Comment

the thing that pisses me off is that admins that cant tell the good players from the hackers.. itz really not that hard.. itz pretty easy to tell a cheater than getz one shot HS all the time from a good player that getz one shot HS all the time.. ive been banned from countless servers because ill have games where all i get is one shot HS... ppl is half ping and fps and the other half is skill... having a low ping, a fairly fast computer that getz high FPS at the highest res, makes one shot HS incredibly easy... i think the reason why most ppl have trouble getting quick kills is the start shooting b4 they aim... it takes just an extra split second to aim for the head.. i cant even go to a server anymore w/o getting accused of hacking, even when im sucking.. ppl see that a person getz 2 or 3 HS in a row and immediately call hacker... of course it waz really funny when i waz an HPB and had a ping of 400 and in about 7 rounds i had 50 kills... about 40 of them were HS =)... nothing is more satisying then having an extremly high ping and knowing you raped the shit outta ppl... when this post is just ramble and i dont kno why i even posted it in the first place.. i kinda just lost my train of thought and kept going.. i think i should go to sleep or something... baiComment
