CK3 died a quiet death in April of last year. One of the best Counter-Strike teams ever, in both terms of skill and attitude, simply called it quits out of the clear blue. Some members formed the world famous Xtreme 3, others simply took a break from the game.
Last December, Big_V decided to give CK3 another chance. He grabbed some old faces and founded CK3 for the second time. CS-Nation has the interview:

CK3|Big_V: I assume you're referring to the members of X3 that were in CK3. This may sound a bit corny, but, everyone that's been in CK3 will always be family to us, and those guys know exactly what I'm talking about. However, there has not been any attempt to bring back those X3 members to CK3. I mean let's think about it for a sec: they ARE the premier CS clan in North America. They are definitely in the top 3 clans in the entire world. Why would you screw that up?! There's no real incentive from a competitive standpoint for them to make a change. They have a great thing going right now, and we wish them nothing but the very best. Like I said, those guys are family; we WANT to see them succeed.
