i've always loved the m14, and this replacement has an especially well done model/skin. the metal and wood texturing is my favorite feature of this (it maybe a little too beaten up DOD style etc but it is extremely well done and realistic).

I ma not a M14 fan, what the hell is that gun?A second world war gun? Also, the weapon itself is quite blocky, and the origin is wrong. I wanna a nice looking G3/SG1 !

Looks good, but this really isn't my style. Plus, like most, I dislike the origins.

It's great, but the wood skin looks really stretched near the end by your hand.



And what do the origins matter, if you're actually sniping with this gun instead of not planting the bomb?

It's a quality model, but an M14 honestly can't hold any spot in my collection for very long, as it just doesn't seem to fit the counter terrorism theme as much as it does the military theme. And yes, there are a few flaws, but nothing really bad.



And for the *ahem* uninformed person *ahem* wondering what the M14 is, it's a semi-auto, 20 round 7.62x51mm rifle, designed to be a lightweight replacement to the M1 Garand. It saw most of its use in Vietnam, until replaced by the mass-produced M16 rifles. However, it hasn't been totally dropped, and you'll still see members of some special forces units using it over the M16/M4 for its superior stopping power. Black Hawk Down also glorified the gun as a sniper rifle, though the M24 (bolt action) would be more common for sniping in less "target-rich" environments.

I like this model. An 8/10 for you. but I would prefer a PSG1, that is if somebody would actually make one <hint, hint>

Skin rules. Arm sucks.

This is a great model. The rifle itself is beautiful, but my problem is with it being centered like it is. You don't get to see enough of this great weapon.
