GameArena has announced that they will open their CS ladder on Monday, and with 150 teams in the ladder its sure set to be a pretty big competition with lots of great action happening. With automatic HLTV generation available to spectate every game on the ladder, it should add an interesting element:
With around 150 teams in the upcoming GameArena CS ladder, this will be the largest CS comp in Australia, and we hope the most fun for you. We are finishing final preperations to the HLTV system that forms part of the ladder software, and just about to finalise the servers.You heard the man!
We have decided to make an additional map selection of inferno, however due to the bomb timer set at 35, we wont be adding dust2. Due to the size of the ladder, it will run for longer than the other ladders on GameArena, and is expected to go for around 15 weeks.
There will be a new listing in the GameArena Client called 'Ladder HLTV' with the ports for all GameArena HLTV servers for ladder games, however remember that they only ever get started at the start of a game. You will also notice in upcoming games at the top of the CS Arena front page, the ip address to spectate each game should you prefer to use another client.
