This is exactly what the CS community needed, another reason for people to hate Valve, although Gearbox is the one doing the developing.



Do you think they are delaying the game to piss us off? No doubt they are implimenting new new gameplay features, attempting to make the game better.

Yes. Apparently CZ is now a mod.



Please stop making horrible assumptions - Condition zero is a full single player game. And it's development cycle reflects that. Games with complicated AI, especially ones trying to mimic the gameplay of real players often takes time to get perfect and to a standard fit for release. (UT, Quake 3 anyone)



CZ has been in development for 1 year. This is not a long time to develop a retail product.

Look at the history of major games, HL, Starcraft, RTCW, Quake 3, UT, SoF, Sof2 all had development times of 3 years or more.

And yes it will obviously will take three years fot CZ to be finished and it has only been a year but CS is getting very outdated and with so many other good games out there with better gameplay and graphics, CS can not afford to wait those years for the next installemnt; CZ.

i.e. the way if HL is set to a different resolution than your desktop, when you alt+tab/minimize your desktop is awkwardly set to the games reolution with mis-aligned icons and such (especially is your dektop is a higher res than the game), as well as the icky colored screen you get wyhen you connect in openGL. Also, MAJOR ANNOYING (yet simple) BUGS like Seige's echo sound and office's door stuck sound have yet to be fixed. THESE are the type of bugs I wish to see fixed, not the fix for "Hax's openGL C-Everything Wallhack beta 821.3 revision 2"

How do the missions work in CZ? narby, you seem to be an expert (I mean this, it's not sarcasm). Because if they're truly going to mimick human play, it's going to be deathmatch-esque. Or is it more like the R6/GR games; targets guarding a certain area type of thing? I don't think I want to play with beefed up AI bots when I can play online.



And another thing: I don't think it's normal to openly weep about the delay of a computer game like a lot of you were doing. Unless you have cancer and are going to live only a few more months, shut up and wait patiently for the finished product.

right, silly me, i forgot that Quake 3, Jedi Knight 2, return to castle wolfenstein, medal of honour, and star trek away team were all the same fucking game. silly me, i mistook my mp40 for a mother fucking phaser rifle. and didn't the nazi's have light sabers? holy shit guy, are you retarded. the engine is what allows developer to produce the gameplay. the engine is NOT the game, and never will be. i mean, q3 engine rocks, but q3 itself sucked (single player).
