Geekplay II 3.0

GeekPlay II is a demo utility for Half-Life. It lets you browse and watch client recorded (or HLTV recored) demos with ease. With a GUI you will be able to see the information about the demo before playing it. GeekPlay II also offers customization to suit your needs, has special features such as a mini file browser and a team say stripper and works with all Half-Life mods that use the standard demo protocol. nice util but... does anyone know an util to fix the demo when the computer crash during recording ???

I have this error when i want to watch the demo => "ERROR: demo had bogus # of directory entries"

beware,

this program alters your HL executable and all of the HL client DLLs as well as a number of others. it DID NOT play old demos (as it was stated it could) , it just crashes. and did not restore the modified files, i had to do it manually.

I noticed it had the mp.dll and client.dll in the geekplay directory, hmm.

It does not alter anything. It backups all files, and when an old demo is launched it simpy replaces files. If something might happen during the playback and HL crashes, you can restore the files by just playing a new demo again.
